Back From Home

Hey everyone! I just got back to the York Campus from a relaxing weekend at home. It was nice to take a break after the test I had in policing on Thursday. Because I spent a great deal of time studying for the exam, I think it went very well. Right now I have reading to do for my senior seminar class! I hope everyone has a good night!

Late Night

Hey everyone. I have been studying for awhile and it is getting pretty late. I reviewed information for my test on Thursday and found articles discussing restorative justice research for my senior seminar class. We are doing scholarly article reviews and teaching the rest of the class about our findings. Our library website is extremely helpful for assignments like this one. I was able to go to the Schmidt Library homepage and connect to EBSCOhost, which is a research database containing articles on a plethora of topics.
I am so tired... time to go to bed!
I hope everyone has a good night. Talk to you next time!

Busy

Hello! Today is a very busy day. I have been meeting with professors about an independent study possibility for next semester and Alpha Phi Sigma duties. I also met with Dean Mussano to discuss my responsibilities for an upcoming event (scholarship recognition ceremony). For the rest of the day I will be studying for my policing test on Thursday and going to class. Hopefully I will find some time to relax! Have a great day!

Good Morning

Hello. Today is another busy day. After my classes, the vice president of Alpha Phi Sigma and I will be going to Olivia's House. We are going to get a recipe for pumpkin rolls and "pay it forward" letters. Each member of the organization will be responsible for making at least one pumpkin roll for Olivia's House. The pumpkin rolls will then be given out to members around the York community. I will also be distributing "pay it forward" letters to group members of Alpha Phi Sigma from Olivia's House. The letters will be sent to families and friends of the group and hopefully result in Olivia's House collecting a great number of stamp booklets (which are what the letters are asking people to donate). Olivia's House is just one of many great organizations where student groups are able to volunteer their time.
I better get going to class. I hope everyone has a great day!

Busy Day

Hey! I hope everyone is doing well! I just wanted to take a break from my busy day to say hello. This morning I had three classes and tonight I have a lot of reading to do. Right now I am headed to an Alpha Phi Sigma (criminal justice national honor society) meeting. I am going to walk from Brockie Commons Apartments (where I live on campus this year) to the meeting so I better get going!

Tired

Hey everyone! How are you? I just got back from a relaxing weekend at home. It was nice to spend time with my family and finish assignments that I received this past week. Tonight I am going to go to the library, because I need to print out some materials for class tomorrow. I am also going to get ahead on the assigned reading for my policing class. I better start unpacking. Talk to you next time!

Weekend

Hello. I hope everyone is doing well. Right now I am working on volunteer opportunities for the Criminal Justice National Honor Society (Alpha Phi Sigma). This year I am president of the organization so it is my job to arrange and organize these events. Currently we will be working with the Y.O.U.T.H organization and Oliva's House. They provide great opportunities to work with youth in need in the York area. I hope everyone has a great day!
