Going Home

I have to say that moving back home is the same feeling I had in September when I moved away to college. Your real excited to move out and start your life but at the same time your sad to leave all your friends and family behind. For me, UNE has become my second home. I have made so many great friends and have done so many great things together, they really became my second family. Saturday night we all went out to a Japanese restaurant in Old Port for their Rock and Roll sushi at 10:00. It was pretty awesome. They have blinking lights and a disco ball and play rock and roll music. It was a great time. Good food, good music, good company, who could ask for more? Sunday evening I packed and after my last final on Monday morning, me and Tiff finished up cleaning the room, my parents came up and we went shopping for the day before I came home. But it was kinda sad to say good-bye to all of my friends, even though i'll be seeing them again in four months. We're all planning on getting together sometime this summer and do something, maybe go to 6 flags for the day or spend the weekend at a summer home down the cape. But its hard to find the time when everyone is available when everyone has to work. We'll see. As of now, I dont even have a job. I might have a job at a local hospital as either a secretary or a tech. Who knows whats gonna happen.
But I am very happy to be back home. Right now, all of my friends are still in school but they should be home this weekend. It'll be great to see everyone again and hang out with my closest friends I havent seen in awhile.
So this will probably my last entry this year. It's been fun writing for you and share my experience as a first year student at UNE. If you have anymore questions of the school or student life or resident life or just wanna say hi feel free to leave me a comment. Good luck with the rest of your school year and have a great summer.. enjoy it! :-)
