MY FIRST ENTRY!!.. the beginning of college.. :-D
It has been about 4 weeks since I've moved to college. As a freshman, it was quite scary moving away for the first time of my life, but so far, its been great!! I've done a lot of exciting things with a great group of people ive met. A few weeks ago, we were watching Willy Wonka (great movie!) at 1AM, which is super late for me! This past Saturday, the campus had their Big Big Event, which is basically like a carnival. Lots of games and prizes. It was some good times. My roommate and I each won 2 goldfish!! Sadly, we already lost 2 of them but the rest are still floating around in a tupperware, trying their best to stay alive.
There's a few beautiful beaches around, including one that is just walking distance away from campus!!
Yes, that is us swimming in the freezing cold Maine water..
but, It's very beautiful and I am so glad to be here!!! :-D
One thing I do miss, is my mom's great cooking!! Here's a picture of my chicken parm dinner I had last week..

It really isnt HORRIBLE food, its semi-good, but it still doesnt beat moms. :-)
The schoolwork is starting to pick up. These past few days have been quite crazy for me, lots of exams and a few papers to do. :-/ As fun as college has been, unfortunatlly, I have to cut down that fun and actually do the work that I came up here to do. I try and get most of it done before the weekend so I can have more time to hang out and watch movies until the late hours!
Im looking forward to this weekend. I'll be heading back home to little ol' FAHaven Massachusetts to visit my ol' pals and family, possibly going to the football game Friday night. Saturday, the family is going to the Big E fair in Springfield for the day and then sunday I'll be visiting a lovely friend of mine at BU (hi beth!!) then I'll back here in lovely Biddeford. Should be a good time.
But for now, I must go and get ready for bio class, we have an exam next thursday.. buh... :-/
