Goodbye UNE, Hello Real World!
Well folks, I'm officially a college graduate!
These past four years have flown by and they have been absolutely amazing. I have learned so much, made some great friends and some fantastic memories. I am proud to be an alum of the University of New England, and for right now it is time to celebrate!
But next week, it is the real world. I will be starting my first full time job as a reporter for Mainely Media. After four months of job searching, investing in a business suit, networking and writing cover letter after cover letter, my efforts have finally paid off. Thanks to the alum network of Salt, I was put into contact with Mainely Media...and they wanted to hire me just as much as I wanted the job. I start Monday, May 19th, and I'm ready to step into the next chapter of my life.
I hope you all have enjoyed my blogs over the past two years and that your college career is as successful and joyous as mine!
