Finding Balance...

In my third year of college, you think I would have time management mastered....

RIGHT...

I'm still not the best at scheduling my time according to what needs to get done. For example, while I have plenty of work to do for the coming week, I spent Thursday afternoon, Friday afternoon/evening/night/earyAM and Saturday enjoying the Halloween holiday festivities. Now, it is Sunday and all that work is just sitting there, but my bed is looking much more appeasing.

To nap or not to nap that is the question...

If I nap, that work will not do itself. If I don't nap, I will feel accomplished and probably be able to relax and go to bed early (which as a college student seems physically impossible).

It is all about balance. I could have done nothing the past three days socially, but that isn't fun. I would have all my work done, but come Monday there would be no stories to share. Of course I need my sleep too, but it will be more rewarding to get done what I have to and chill later on. My balance in life is completely lopsided this weekend and now I have to deal with it.

This is just another college lesson that isn't outlined in your classes syllabi...
