Back to SCHOOL!!!!

Wow! It has been quite a while since I've done an entry. Sadly, not many exciting things have happened since my last entry for the past semester. After my semester ended, I went home for a week and then had to come back because my sister graduated from UNE. It was so awesome seeing all the graduates, and I even got to help pass diploma frames to the graduates after they received their scrolls (diplomas came in the mail).

This is my family after Sam graduated.

After Sam's graduation we all headed back home. This summer my family moved, so home is now in Calais, Maine. For those of you who don't know, it's alllll the way east in Maine, on the Canadian border. My dad, grandfather, and I renovated our entire house before my mom and sister moved in. It was a lot of hard work, but I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot of new things! I worked at my uncle's restaurant, The Chandler House, and that is all I did all summer; just work at work and then work at home. Before I came back to school, our whole family went to Boston and we saw the Blue Man Group. They were amazing!

We even got our picture taken with one of them!!

I came to school on August 24th. Now, some of you may think this seems early, and, you're right. I came about a week and a half early for RA training. I never knew that there would be so much training. I learned so much and am definitely ready to do basically anything that could ever be needed of me as an RA. As part of the training we went white water rafting. It was so much fun, and a great arm workout! We went to moxie falls the day before rafting. It was gorgeous.

The semester has started and it's been a busy one already. I love my residents: SIENA 2 is the BEST! My classes are tough, but I really like them. I'll keep you posted on any new and exciting developments here at UNE. Hope everyone's enjoying their times back at school!!
