Back to school for the Home Stretch!!!
Hello! It seems like forever since I've done a real entry! Vacation does that to you I guess!! So, this was my last break before the end of year one!! Crazy, I know!!! Okay, let's recap the last two weeks...the week before break was pretty good. I had a lot of work and stuff that I had to get done, but it wasn't too bad! My memory is terrible, but I'm pretty sure nothing too exciting happened that week. Vacation was a good rest from school and such. I only had a couple friends that were home at the same time as I was, so I didn't get to see all my friends from high school, but it was still fun! We went to the movies a few times, to Borders for drinks, and bowling once. It was nice not having to worry about school work or anything like that. I also helped pack up our house. We're moving in June, but our house has been sold so we have to rent a house in the same town so my little sister Toni can finish the school year in Old Town. Then it's off to Calais we go! oh boy! Other than packing, sleeping, EATING, and hanging with my friends and family, I didn't do anything special. Some people go to Florida or Jamaica, or to a friend's house for the week, and I go to Old Town, ME! haha, it was fun, so I shouldn't put it down too much!
I had a lot of work assigned to me over break. I had to write a 7 page paper, read a bunch, a chem problem set, and a philosophy mid term which consisted of 4 two page essays! Being the typical college student, I procrastinated and didn't do most of it until I got back to school this afternoon! Needless to say, I'm definitely going to try doing my work earlier next time! (my parents are probably saying, "I told ya so!" right now!!)
I also got my hair cut this week!! I was getting really tired of my long hair, so I decided to chop it all off. I only have two pics of me with my "new" hair, and they're both really weird...here's the "better" of the two. hah

nice pic, eh? hah!
Cross Country Spring training starts tomorrow. The captains have organized practices for us to all run together. This should be fun! I'm sure that since I'm lazy and haven't run very much since the end of the season I'll be in some pain! oh, well, again, that's what I get for being lazy and putting things off!
Okay, I'm off to bed! And if any of you are coming to Experience UNE Day this weekend, maybe I'll see you around campus! A couple Cross Country recruits are also staying with me and Alex (my roommate) because we both run, so if you're reading this and you're staying over as a XC recruit, I guess now you know who you're staying with! hah! See ya then!!! Have a great week everyone, and good luck with the home stretch of high school! It goes by fast!!
