Hola

So, like the past few weeks, nothing amazing has really happened!! Like my past posts I will begin with answering questions from my past post:

Aimee- there is a pretty decent selection of sport activities! There are the Varsity Sports (Soccer, Field Hockey, CROSS COUNTRY (that's what I do), Golf, Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming, Lacrosse, and Softball). There are also some intramural sports indoor soccer, basketball, and wiffle ball (I think)...there may be more, but those are the ones I'm pretty sure of. You can also try out for the dance team (they are wicked good...I have a few friends on the team), ultimate frisbee, gymnastics, club baseball, and many more. If there is a sport or anything that you're interested in that they don't offer here, you could totally start a club sport or team. As for the attendance at sporting events. Honestly, I wish there was more support for our varsity and intramural sports. Quite a few people will go, but sometimes I feel like more people in my high school attended games and such. The Swim meets are always packed though! They're really good, and everyone loves watching the swim team! I think I remember there being a lot of people at the soccer games too. I always enjoy watching my school at any sport, so I always try to go to a few of the home games for each sport! Thanks for commenting on my blog Aimee!

This past week Hall Council has been sponsoring Hall Olympics! Hall Olympics is a weeklong competition between all the dorms. Hall Council puts on different activities that people can do. The more people that show and participate and wear your dorm color (This year Siena is GREEN) then the more points you get. You also get a lot of points for winning the events. Last weekend (when I went home) there was a toga party/dance in the multipurpose rooms. During the week there was a tighty wighty run where everyone has to wear their underwear and then run through campus (you just get participation points for that one) and a pie eating contest! There was also a scavenger hunt, silly relay games, water sports, Grey's Anatomy trivia night, and many other actvities. The last I heard, Avila was winning, followed by South, Padua, then SIENA! I'm not sure what the winning dorm gets, but I think they got sweatpants last year! Hall Olympics has been fun, so I definitely suggest checking them out next year!!!

Well, I'm exhausted and I need to catch some Z's so, I'll be ending my entry now!
Goodnight!
-Andrew-
