It's Winding Down!
Hey Everyone! This past week has been pretty busy. Most professors have given last exams before finals start (unofficially this coming week, but the offcial week for finals is next week). My precalculus professor changed the final from Dec. 22 (the last day of finals) to the 14th (this Thursday)!! I'm so glad that I don't have to stay until friday now!!! Other than that nothing really exciting happened this week!
Oh, I did get to go to the Residential Life lunch banquet last week! It was pretty neat. All the Community Coordinators, which are the professional staff in charge of certain dorms, gave presentations about about their programs and such. We also got to learn about the the new Sandra Featherman Building (which is going to be reffered to as "Sandy Hall"). It's pretty neat and it really seems like the housing department has made a lot of positive changes to the department! I'm applying to be and R.A. (which is a Residential Advisor. In better terms, it's a student in charge of a floor in a dorm) I hope that if I get chosen to be and R.A., that I'll be able to live in Sandy Hall!!!
This past weekend (yesterday and today) I was at my grandmother's for our annual family Christmas party. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing all my aunts, uncles, and cousins (though they ALL give me a hard time about something....hah! It's all for fun!) My grandmother had stockings for everyone and lots of food too! It was such a great time, I'm already looking forward to next year!!! I forgot to take my camera, so I didn't get any pictures there! Hopefully next time I'll remember!
Today, when we got back from our grandmother's we decorated our Christmas tree! It was a lot of fun and I'm glad that my family waited for me to come home to decorate!!!
I hope that you are all getting ready for winter break....don't forget about those college apps. and SCHOLARSHIPS!!!
