Walmart, Guitars, Birthdays, and More
Well, this past week has been very exciting! I have been so busy, and have found a few minutes before I got to bed to write my entry! Before I begin I would like to respond to a question that was asked after my last post! Right now, because winter is just around the corner, it's usually in the 50s during the day and in the 30s at night. Since, I'm from even more north than here, I'm used to the frigid air, but, it still is quite chilly!! Thanks Brittany for checking out my blog, keep reading for more excitement about my life!! hah!
So, a couple weeks ago, after my trip home, my truck (Charlie) died in the parking lot of Marcil. I finally got a new battery and Charlie's back and running! To celebrate his full recovery, my friends and I went to Wal-Mart and Ruby Tuesday!

Hey...it's almost Halloween, we deserve candy too!!

Fun times at Wally World!!

Ellen, Me, and Amy at the Rube!

Claire, Alex, and Fran at the other end of the table!!
I was also Eric's (from down the hall) birthday!! He turned 19 yesterday and we surprised him with decorations and cookies!! yaaay!

Aren't the decorations lovely?
All of us in the room, waiting for the BIG SURPRISE!

He sure was surprised!!
Alex is also teaching a bunch of us how to play guitar! Hopefully the next time I go home, Toni (my little sister) will let me take hers back with me since she NEVER plays it!! I love playing, and I hope that someday I'll be able to be somewhat decent!!!
These past couple weeks have seemed crazy! Lots of stuff going on with classes, papers, homework, tests, quizzes...you know, the usual chaos they call school!!! Cross country's starting to wind down, so that will give me loads more time every day and I'll have my precious saturdays back!! In a couple days, we're having elections for class officers, and I'm running for president! I really hope I get it, but if I don't, I'm sure whoever does will deserve it!! Something else to look forward to: THE RAVE!! The infamous Halloween dance in the upper cafe every year! I wasn't sure what I wanted to go as, but I talked to Jennine and we came to the conclusion that since I'm a med. bio. major, I should go as a doctor, but more specifically: Dr. McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy!! Right now, Jason and I are trying to see if we can get people to go as the whole (or most) of the cast of Grey's! How fun would that be?!
Well, enough rambling, because I'm exhausted and I need to go to sleeeeep!!
Reminder: Comments are STRONGLY suggested!!!! :-D
Hasta Luego,
Andrew
