OBVI...ously!!
Hey Guys (and girls)!! My name is Andrew Cole and I'm from Old Town, Maine. I'm a medical biology major and someday I hope to go to medical school in New York City. I'm 18 years old and my birthday's on September 13th. I had a great birthday with all my friends. It was weird not being home with my family, but my friends made it a really great day!! I love being active and I especially love running...that's why I'm on the cross country team here at UNE! I also really enjoy eating, hanging out with my friends, and just having a great time!
Let's see...I've already been here at UNE for over a month because I had to come a week early for XC pre-season. I love being on the XC team...everyone is so cool and we all know how to have a fun time...even if it's during a 12 mile run!!! I'm also in the surf club, the Activities Program Board (APB), and the Emergency Medical Services Club (EMS). I love being involved and there are definitely so many opportunities for me to do pretty much whatever I'm interested in.
My course load this semester is pretty challenging, but definitely manageable. I'm taking Chemistry, Biology, Pre-Calc, Intro. to Environmental Issues (which is required for ALL UNE students), and African Drumming Ensemble...how cool is that?!?! I get to sit in a circle and play my Djembe, which is one of the drums we play, for three hours a week and I get graded for it!!! It's kind of tough and my hands hurt after, but it's totally worth it!
So, if I'm not busy enough, I work in the Registrar's Office for my workstudy job. If any of you go on tours of the school stop in and say hey on your way by...I love having visitors!!!
Okay, I know this entry was on the borefest side, but I just had to get all the "About Me" stuff out of the way!! The next ones will be more exciting...I promise! Have a good week and I hope you will read more about my muy excitado life at UNE!
-Andrew-
