I'm not lame...I swear!

So, I just looked over my last two posts and decided that I sounded pretty lame!!! I think now's a good time to go over my past six weeks here at UNE! I got here a week before move in for cross country pre-season. It was such a fun week being on campus with not many people. It was great not having to wait in line for food at the cafe in Decary. If any of you are even interested in doing a sport, it's sooooo worth it just to try out!!! We just had practice for a couple hours a day and then hung out until the next day's practice. I got to meet some of the volleyball girls that week, and now we're all REALLY good friends.

Claire, Ellen, Amanda, and Fran-all from volleyball and me and Alex, my roommate, from XC!!

We had so much fun that week...we got to go on the beach, and just hang out all the time!

The XC team is so much fun too! The first week we split off into different teams and had a scrimmage! Our team got second place, but we DEFINITELY had the best outfits!

These were all the teams. The Quailmen got first, The Pimpin' Pirates (my team) got second, Team Ram Piss got third, and The Colly Wobbles got fourth. Coach brought us out for icecream after...it was such a fun day!!!

Since that week, classes have started, friends have been made, XC meets have started. I'm having such a fun time and I hope the fun times keep rollin'! Keep reading for more details on my not-so-lame..? life!

Buenos Noches,
Andrew
