I remember when I toured UNE my first time it was the middle of winter and there was snow everywhere and it was so cold. Needless to say the weather did not dampen my views on what a great school UNE is. UNE Westbrook College campus is having an open house for any students interested in the nursing or dental hygiene programs offered at my campus. The date is October 20. So make sure you mark your calendars!
Also coming up soon for the WCC students is a family and friends weekend. This is when student’s families and siblings come over for the weekend and have a chance to play games, watch movies, and enjoy a free meal. The weekend is geared towards entertaining student’s younger siblings. Too bad my younger sister is already in college, she would have enjoyed pumpkin painting.
Clinical went well this week and right now I am fishing up my patient’s care plan. A nursing care plan is a written form of our nursing assessment, analysis, implementation, and evaluation. They are a lot of work, but are vital in performing and organizing nursing care for a patient based on the patient’s own individualized needs.

Hello all! This is my first time checking out the Blogs. It looks like you all have sooo much fun, even in the Winter, but you all take your studies very seriously too. I hope I get the pleasure of becoming a member of the UNE community. I just filled out my application for admission about 2 weeks ago, Priority Admission of course, so I can lock in my spot ahead of time. I have a lot of plans to make for a move from Iowa to Maine. Right now I am on pins and needles waiting for the decision. Hope to see you all in the Fall.
See ya...
