Midsemester brings Midterms
Hey Guys! Sorry it's been a while since my last blog. I've been crazy busy with work, Orientation, ResLife, and school.
So, it's midterm time. Let me tell this is my first semester of every having midterms for my classes. Let me just give you a rundown of my schedule. Monday, I had two papers due; one being a reflection paper for Philosophy and a term paper for my Logical and Rhetorical class. Tuesday I had a certification test for my CPR class. Wednesday I had the first part of my Intro to Fiction class, a quiz in Philosophy, and a midterm in Logical. Thursday I have a midterm for my Writing for Communication class. Finally, Friday, I have my second part of my English midterm and a theology paper due. It's a very busy and full schedule for me. It's rough but I'm getting through it.
Spring break is coming up, March 16-24. I can't wait for break! I've been working since the first day of the semester; it's time for a break. This year, we are still in session for Scranton's infamous Parade Day. If you don't know about Scranton's Parade Day, let me tell you about it. As you know St. Patrick's Day is coming up and every Saturday before St. Patty's Day, Scranton holds Parade Day. This parade is the 3rd largest in the nation! So, it's a pretty exciting day. I haven't yet to experience what is Parade Day but I've only heard stories. Last year we were already on break from school and this year I'm on duty for the day for ResLife. I hope next year I'll get to experience Parade Day. I suggest if you are ever in the area during Parade Day to go to the parade. It's always a great time, from what I've been told.
For break I'm just going home. I haven't truly been home since January 3, so it's time for me to go home and spend time with family and friends. I'm just going to be relaxing the entire time I'm home and going to love every minute.
Okay, it's still midterms and I need to go back to studying. I hope you have a great week. I'll see you when I get back from break.
Cya!
