FINALS!!!
It's the dreaded week that all college students hate to hear, FINALS!!! That's right it's finals week here at the University of Scranton. People are frantic with their studies and trying to fit in sleep sometime or no sleep at all. Me personally, in the past 3 days I've gotten about 10 hours of sleep total. I have 5 finals to take this week; chemistry lab, public speaking, chemistry lecture, pre-calculus, and biology lecture. Today was my first final and it was my chemistry lab. Literally it took me a whole 30 minutes to take the test, it was really easy. I'm hitting myself because I was telling myself that it was going to be easy but yet I still studied for hours on end last night. Staying up until 3am, not going to bed until around 5am, and then getting up at 7:30am for the final at 8am. Lets just say after my final I ate breakfast because I was starving and came back to my room and passed out on my bed. Tonight I pulling an all-nighter!!! Tomorrow I have my public speaking final and chemistry final, so I'm pretty much not sleeping tonight. All the studying is going to pay off in the end; that's what I keep telling myself. The best part about this week is that the entire campus is on 24 hour quite hours. Which means there is to be no excessive loud noises inside and outside the dorms. Me and my friends went outside to get some air and we were being loud only because we were all studying for like the past 7 hours we needed a break. So we were just laughing and talking and one of the RAs in Hannan Hall came out and yelled at us. Just goes to show that 24 hour quite hours is taken seriously here at the University.
Before I forget, last tuesday during dead week, USPA put on Finals Frenzy!!! It was from 9pm-12am in the Byron. There was food, trampolines, moon bounce, oxygen bar, and massage chairs. A couple of my friends went and had the time of our lives. It took our minds off of studying for finals. My favorite part of the frenzy was the oxygen bar. It had to the coolest and most relaxing thing i ever did. We all had a great time.
Once finals are over it's lovely winter break!!! 5 weeks of doing absolutely nothing and catching up on lost sleep. I really can't wait for break because I get to see all of my friends that I haven't seen since September. It will also be nice to spend time with my family and sleep in my own bed and shower in my own shower (Trust me it sounds weird, but once you start living the college life you'll understand). After such a stressful semester, this break is really well deserved.
Okay, I would make this a longer blog, but I have so much studying to do.
Catch ya` on the flipside!
