Happy New Year and Goodbye Break!

Happy 2007!!!! I can't believe another year has come and gone. Each year seems to go by faster and faster. In another few months, I will be a senior, which is something I do not even want to think about. So…moving on…I spent New Years Eve with a group of friends from home, which was really fun. I had not really seen any of them yet, so it was good to catch up with them and hear about how their junior years were going. My friend Kim was in Italy for the semester, so it was really exciting to see her and hear about the things that she did and saw.
New Years day was not quite as exciting as the Eve. I had to drive back up to school for intersession. Intersession is during the month of January. Students take usually one, but sometimes two and three classes over the month period. It is usually a good time, because although the campus is almost empty, you tend to meet new people and you get closer to your old friends as well. So, I was looking forward to getting back up to school, but the drive back was horrible. It was raining and so foggy that I could not really even see. Then, when I got up to school, my royal card was not activated, so I could not get into my apartment. I was able to call one of my friends to let me in, but by the time I got settled, all I wanted to do was sleep.
Once I recovered from the drive, I got myself into intersession groove. My apartment mate, Stephanie, is also up, so I am not alone in the apartment, which is nice. Besides work and the gym, my days have involved multiple trips to wal-mart, hot buffalo wing dip (which is awesome by the way), tons and tons of movies, and a marathon of “Americas Next Top Model.” Basically, life does not really get any better than this. I love being up in Scranton for intersession, and I know it will be a huge shock when I actually have to go to multiple classes in one day. I am not quite ready for the spring semester, so it is a good thing we have such a huge break.
I am going to leave you with that, but expect more about intersession in my next blog!!!!
