Well I'm back from a pretty exciting weekend! I went to Altoona Friday night to be with my mom for her birthday. I hadn't seen her for two weeks, so I was excited to be home. Mom and Dad picked me up from MAC around 6 and we got a pizza from Penn Gable's, a nice pizzeria in Ebensburg. When we got home, my sister was just getting back from cheerleading practice and we all went to have dinner together. My mom decided that she wanted to go out to the movies for her birthday. She picked Catch and Release with Jennifer Garner. I loved it, and Mom had fun spending time with us...she always does!!

Saturday, I made my way back up here to help with the Take a Kid to the Game Day festivities. The weather held out for everybody, and it even warmed up quite a bit. We had dozens of kids show up as well as the Mount Aloysius athletes. I think my favorite part of the day was watching the baseball players put their artistic skills to work at the face painting table. Tim Kelly, the Athletic Director and Women's Soccer coach, handed me a camera and put me in charge of documenting the whole event. With my love for photography, you can imagine how excited I was!! I might have had more fun than the kids. HaHa :o)

After the games, I spent the rest of the night with my mom and dad. My dad made my mom's special birthday dinner: meatloaf, corn and French onion soup. (My mouth is watering just thinking about it!) To top everything off, we made Mom a birthday cake that just melted in our mouths!!

Well, after bouncing back and forth between MAC and Altoona this weekend, I'm kinda tired and have to catch up on some reading and homework...I'll catch you guys later!!
