Mount Aloysius College: Round 2 (ding)
It's official. My second year at Mount Aloysius College is underway!
My name is Laura, and I'm a sophomore in the Elementary Education program. My first year at MAC was better than I could have ever imagined and I made some terrific friends. I am a member of the women's soccer team and will be playing women's softball this spring. If you ever get to visit the campus, you can find me just about anywhere because I am always doing something. Whether it be working in the Admissions Office, bouncing from class to class, playing soccer, or attending just about every event on campus, I am all over this place. I honestly eat, sleep and breathe Mount Aloysius...ask anyone!
I don't know about you, but for me, there is just something so amazing about going back to school shopping. I love buying new notebooks with matching binders and folders (because I'm weird like that), new pencils and pens and of course the new additions to my wardrobe. If you knew me though, you'd know that my wardrobe pretty much consists of one thing...MAC gear. :o) I also love buying new decorations to spruce up my room in the residence hall.
It was so much fun going back to school and moving into Ihmsen Hall again. It seemed to take forever, and I don't blame it on my two car-loads of stuff, but because I was seeing all of my friends again for the first time in three months. It felt so great to see everyone...especially my twin Lindsey Bobb!! We met last year and have been glued together ever since. We were so psyched about starting the new soccer season and meeting all of our new teammates. We moved in a week early to begin pre-season training and meet all of the new athletes.
I think that's enough for now. Next time I'll be sure to tell you about Outdoor Odyssey and the leadership expedition I went on before classes started. Good times!!
Laura
