Have you ever really thought about the Easter Egg?

Well, I have. I know there is probably some cultural tradition that goes back to the Old World, but I just can't get my brain around the reason for having colored eggs. I probably wasted too much time thinking about this any way. Besides, I love coloring eggs. I really like making the multicolored ones where you dip the egg in half way and then do another color on the other half. I think I'm going to start getting excited right now, especially since we have six days off. I didn't even see that coming. I made a little mini-spring break when we had the four day weekend, but with six days off, I don't know what I'll do. Probably nothing, which is the coolest thing to do ever.

My poor head needs the relaxation. I have been juggling college and work so every now and then I fall a little behind. I guess that's what breaks are for. I've been doing a lot of papers, but hey, I am a history major! The thing is that there are not a lot of changes in my life. College is always number one, work is a distant second (sorry, paint store), and the rest of my time is dedicated to righteous domination of my immediate environment. My paper topics are all over the place. Mexican/American Relations, "Was New Imperialism a Continuation of Manifest Destiny?" "My Dream Job is a House Husband," stuff like that. Haha...I'm just kidding. It's getting to be big project time, so I'm sure I may be missing in action over the next few weeks. That's okay, I like it. I need a little pressure to perform at my best any way.

Before I go, big thanks to the panelist at the No Child Left Behind discussion. It was really eye opening to see how the teachers are dealing with this new system and how it is impacting our future Mounties. One more big thanks to Fr. Nik who took mercy on his class last night and let us out while the sun was still shining. You rock! Now I must go, the man isn't going to fight himself.

I'm sure it was spring for two days...keep it coming!
