The official annoucement

Hello, my fellow Americans,

I come to you today, a man of the people. I walked a mile in your shoes, I've kissed your babies and shaken your hand. You've come a long way America, but I think we can go a little further. I now officially announce my candidacy for President of the United States......2020. Yes, I'm starting my campaign early. Now technically, I won't be old enough to run for President until 2020, but if Congress would like to pass an ammendment so that I could join early, well, that would be ok, too. My platform? Peace, Love, and Education. Today I'm getting the education I need to be President at one of America's finest institutions, Mount Aloysius College.

I'm learning to make both legal and moral judgements with Fr. Nik; I'll need that when I'm President. Dr. Smith is teaching us how we built our great country from the ground up: that's new social history, heroes, you would love it. She's also helping me develop my foreign policy strategy in Comparative Politics. I comin' for you, France! Get ready! Armed with these WMDs of knowledge, I will fight a war on uncoolness and square-ism, and the dictionary.

So, when you enter that booth on November 2, 2020, remember to vote for DePiro: the Real American Hero! Oh, I am already accepting campaign contributions, so please give deeply. I'm just kidding!!! I'm rich in knowledge, so who needs money?? I am sure this news is about to ignite a media frenzy, so I'd better go finish my homework before the photo shoot.

U.S.A., U.S.A!
DePiro Rules!
