Welcome back......to the Revolution!
Hello, Mounties and pre-Mounties!
Once again you have entered the nation of relaxtion, where the population only feels only the sensation of warm, fuzzy vibrations! I, the mighty DePiro, have returned from my Christmas odyssey. I hope that your Christmas was a great one. We had house guest for like 20 days so things were a little crowded, but I love my family so that's just fine. I got a new hoodie, a harmonica, and The Te of Piglet (see also: The Tao of Pooh). Santa didn't bring me the radio-active T-Rex that I was gonna drag race with, but hey, there's always next year. What else, hmmmmm. Oh, my brother finally got a new job, a data entry something something, all I know is that he's going to be making more money than I am, until I graduate that is... Mom is crazy, Dad is salty, Hendrix the cat.....Rules! So everything is about the same, except for......
Would everybody that had a 4.0 put their hands up. Oh, look at that, my hand went up. I SUPER OUTER SPACE RULE!Since my credits from another institution do not carry over QPA points, I have a 4.0 CUMULATIVE GPA. Now the pressure is on me, yeesh!
I really like my new classes. I have Dr. Smith for two more classes: History of America and Comparative Politics. I think she may be trying to fill my head with new readings, but I'm totally jacked for these classes. The subject matter kind of overlaps so I got that going for me. Kinda bummed about not having Dr. Rohlf but I think Fr. Ferencz will fill his spot well. That dude is a mile a minute. I have him for Ethics II. It it's gearing toward ethical choices in the medical field. Go, Stem Cells! I think my most entertaining class will be my Critical Thinking in Literature class. Prof. Steinbeiser has a seriously wicked sense of humor, and she just keeps the zingers comin'. But she has a great approach towards her class and I think it will be an experience. Finally, errrr, finally I HAVE MATH. why, why ,why do I still have math. I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't hurt anybody.....that didn't deserve it, naw just kidding (not kidding). I know a have to do it, and it is my last one. But still, I look at a math problems and the numbers just start swirlin'. I think that Dr. Andrews will do a good job though. She's a very sweet lady, and teaching on a bad foot, that's double tough.
Let's bring it home. New classes, new faces, new challenges to dominate. And at least in my mind, the Steelers are in the playoffs, so Go Black and Gold! If you are not here, come schedule a visit and see why Mount Aloysius is seriously delicious!
Give yourself a high five for reading all the way!
DePiro Rules!
