Why I chose LHU and what I love about it: I chose LHU because of the beautiful campus and the distance. LHU is far enough from home that I could be on my own but close enough so I can go back if I'm ever feeling homesick. I absolutely love the faculty at LHU especially with my department and also the size of the university. It's very easy to meet people and make new friends.
Clubs/Organizations that I am involved with or plan to become involved: I'm involved with the University Players (Theatre Club) and also Dangerously Improv.
Other Personal Interests: Running, Hiking, Singing, Dancing, and I love the beach!

Hellloooooo,
I hope everyone is having a great day!! I know I am because it has been WARMMMM outside so I am loving the weather!!! :) Well I had a ton of fun during my auditions and got call backs for both which is a good thing, so now I just have to wait to find out if I was cast in a show!! Now I'm going to start hunting for more auditions! The main stage show is going great and Thursday we will be completely off book which is exciting!!! Another thing that is very exciting ... I bought my cap and gown for graduation today!!!!! Time is just going by so fast it seems like yesterday I was a freshman living in the dorms and now I have my cap and gown! :) Classes have been going great still and I'm still trucking along getting all my work done and such! I have no really big plans for the weekend. I'm prolly just going to catch up on some assignments and have some fun outside! (Hopefully it will stay nice out) Well that’s all I have for now! Have a great rest of the week!!

Hi there!
Sooooo I hope everyone had a great week/weekend! I know that I have been supppperrrrr busy! However, next week is SPRING BREAK WOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!! Sadly, I will not be going on any awesome vacations, but I do have two professional auditions one is on Friday of this week and the other is next Friday. The one this coming Friday is at the Millbrook Playhouse right here in good ol' Lock Haven and the other is in Virginia! I will be riding with a few other theatre majors down to Virginia, so it should be a fun road trip and (of course) an awesome experience!! Well pretty much this week consists of me running around getting everything prepared. I am finishing up my resume, brushing up on my monologue, and rehearsing my song for the Millbrook audition. Of course on top of that I'm doing school work, working, and going to rehearsals so I’m a little swamped as of now but I’m handling it pretty well I think (knock on wood ;)). After my Millbrook Audition, this weekend a good friend will be taking some headshots of me just so I get a really good one for my audition in Virginia. Then on Monday night I will be heading home to York for a few days to see my friends and family. It should be nice because I haven’t seen them since January! Also, can I just say time is FLLLYYYYINNNGGG like CRAZY its already March, April will be here before you know it, and then May will be coming around the corner in no time. Then... BOOMMM Graduation! It's a little scary, exciting, and insane all at the same time so Ill just have to get use to it I suppose. As far as other things that are going on rehearsal is going really well and I can’t wait until we are all off book and speeding through rehearsals! Well that's all I really have for now! I'll be sure to chime in about how my auditions went!!!
(P.S. Did I mention I can’t wait until spring???)

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and had a fabulous time! Let’s see... On Friday night I went out to dinner and to see a show with a few of my favorite friends! We ate dinner at La Gabriella’s in Jersey Shore, which is this AWESOMEEEEEE Mexican restaurant! It was my first time I've ever been there and the food is soooooo good, so I was happy! After dinner, we went to Williamsport to see the show TICK TICK BOOM! and it was pretty good the tickets were very affordable and the theatre was different than most, but I still enjoyed it! I worked Saturday at Open House and when I got home I had a nice 3 hour nap! :) My weekend was pretty relaxing I got a lot of work done for this week and I did laundry.... lots and LOTS of laundry! Hmmm, this week I have 2 exams (wish me luck :)), a University Players meeting, rehearsal (but I have off Thursday and Friday), and Improv on Thursday. Hopefully I'll have time to squeeze some naps in here and there! Oh, and another thing, I am soooooooooo sick of cold weather! I cannot wait to stop wearing gloves and winter coats!! It's been very sunny but not even close to as warm as I want it to be!!! Maybe (if I'm lucky), It will be super nice this weekend! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! Last week I wasn't feeling too well so I was suppperrrrrrr lazy all weekend, but no worries because I feel LOADS better now! Also, it snowed a bunch this weekend so I didn’t really want to escape the coziness of my couch, but can I just say that today is soooooooooo much nicer! I'm just so ready for warm weather to get here I'm not really a fan of all this chilly weather and snow. Well, rehearsals for Unnecessary Farce are going AWESOME and I am soooooooo excited for the show!! Not much is new I’ve just been busy with my classes, rehearsals, meetings, working, gym time, and whatever else I can cram into my already super busy day! But, I'm happy to be busy... and I'm happy there's coffee to keep me awake too! :) Oh, I forgot Happy Valentines Dayyyyyy!!!!!! I made some yummy Valentine treats for my roommates last night, but other than that I don't have any lovey dovey plans. I have rehearsal until about 10:00 p.m. tonight and then I'll be coming home to hangout and watch movies with my roommates. I'm excited for Dangerously Improv on Thursday!! It's a nice way to unwind, be silly, and just laugh a TON with friends! What's Dangerously Improv you ask?? It's sort of like "Whose Line is it anyway?" where you play a bunch of different improvisational games that are just HILARIOUS and super FUN!! But what if you just want to watch? No worries, because that's okay too and you can just watch your friends act like goofballs, which is ALWAYS fun!!! As for the rest of my week, I don't have rehearsal on Fridays (as of now) so maybe after women's choir some friends and I will go to the mall, the movies, or grab a bite to eat somewhere! I'm a little restless after spending all weekend sleeping off my cold! I hope everyone has a GREAT rest of the week and a fabulous weekend!!!!

Hello there everybody!!!
I hope everyone had a fabulous and exciting weekend!! Mine was jam packed of activities! Okay, so as you know I had auditions on Wednesday and Thursday last week. Also, I had callbacks on Friday evening as well and let me just say I had suchhhhhh a terrific time at auditions!!! Everyone was so full of energy and it was a blast to audition with everyone!! The cast list went up Friday night and........ I will be playing Billie in Unnecessary Farce which is the main stage show!!!!!! WOOO HOOOOO!!!! I am sooo very excited to be apart of this show for my last semester and I cannot wait to work with everyone!!!! (P.S. If you want to know what the show is about you can Google it and there will be pictures, videos, a synopsis, etc. if you're curious) As a congratulations to me, My roommates and I decided to go to Penn State for some shopping, dinner, and a movie. We had suchhh a good time and we went to see Chronicle, which was awesome!!! I highly recommend seeing it! Sunday morning I went to breakfast with a few good friends (which is kind of a tradition now) and then after that my roommates and I had to get cooking for the Super bowl!!! We decided to make pizzas (which is my absolute favorite food ever!!) and our friends who came over each brought something! I’m not much of a football fan so I had no personal preference of the winner. Today will be my first audition and that will start my super busy semester!! Well I will talk to you later this week!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!! Last week was a little slow and hectic since I was getting use to my new schedule of my last semester, so I spent my weekend getting organized. Good thing I did because I'm finally getting back into the groove of things! This week I will be a super busy bee because I have auditions for the spring semester show Wednesday, Thursday, and maybe callbacks on Friday evening!!!! WOOO HOOOO!!! I am super dooper excited and I cannot wait! The auditioning process for a show is probably one of my favorite things! I always have a ton of fun auditioning and even if I don't get cast for the show the experience and feedback is well worth it!! I will keep you guys posted and be sure to let you know how they go later on this week!! (Hopefully they go well :) keep your fingers crossed)

Hello there!!
I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday!!! It was very nice to be home for a little while and spend time with my family and friends. However, winter Break is sadly over and today starts off my first day of my last semester at Lock Haven!! I’m super excited for my last semester, but also a little sad that it's going to be over soon. I'm taking 18 credits this semester soooo that means I'm going to be a very very busy bee!! Wednesday will be the first meeting of the spring semester for the University Players so I have that to look forward to! Also, since it is a new semester that means that auditions for the spring semester show will be coming veryyyy veryyyyy soon!!! I cannot wait!! It feels really good to be back in the Haven! I missed all of my friends and especially my roommates!!! Tonight we're going to have a movie night and make some popcorn because it has been a while since we could be goofy in our house together!! :) I hope everyone has a fantastic week!!! Hello there everyone!
This is my first entry and well let me just tell you this semester has just FLEW by! I cannot believe it's already finals week and after Friday I will only have one semester left until I graduate!!! Its sooo exciting :)! Let’s see... this week I only have two finals one on Wednesday and the other on Friday morning 8am; which I'm not too excited about because I am sooo not a morning person, but it shouldn't be too bad. The good thing is that after that final I'll be driving home to York for winter break WOOO HOOOO!!!! But before I leave, I have a University Players meeting (which is the theatre club) on Wednesday evening! They will be announcing the spring semester shows and we're also going to be having a white elephant party. If you don't know what a white elephant party is don't feel bad because I had nooooo clue until they announced it at the last meeting! Any who, what you have to do for a white elephant party is bring something from home that you have laying around/have no use for, then you wrap it up and you'll get to exchange your junk for someone else's. They always say one man's trash is another man's treasure! It should be very fun!
