I have one more final tomorrow morning then I am officially done. I stayed up all night last night to study for my chemistry final this morning- hopefully it paid off! Hi everyone :) I can't believe it's April already. We had gorgeous weather this past weekend but now its raining and believe it or not, it snowed yesterday. If you have been following my blog, you probably know I don't like snow or being cold. Tomorrow is celebration of scholarship day. I am presenting for my early childhood class 'Creative Expression'. COS is a day where students get to presnt to faculty, staff and classmates what they have been doing in their classes. Students can choose to submit their work themselves, or professors will choose you to attend. Tonight I have a two hour student teaching meeting and a field hockey game- busy evening! I hope you all have a great day :)

Hello everyone :) I have so much homework to do this week and next week its unbelievable, I despise this time of the semester. Three exams next week, two lesson plans, and an exam on friday is enough to drive me crazy. I went home this past weekend for Easter and drove back early Monday morning...least to say it was nice to watch the sun rise on route 80. My family is coming up Sunday because I got a scholarship and there is a small reception cermony for it :) Also we have open house this saturday- hope to see you there. Sorry this post is short but I have a lot of things on my to do list today!

Hello everyone =) I hope you all are enjoying your week...its half way over! wahoo! I am going home on Friday for Easter and I cannot wait! Although I must say this semester I've been home quite a few times, usually I only go home for the holidays. The haven has been beautiful lately, the weather has been in the 60's. I had an intramural field hockey game last night at 9 and we won 8-0. I also went to a step aerobics class at the rec for the first time in a while, it feels good getting back in shape. My classes are getting super intense right now...and I'm not sure why. I got assigned two assignments yesterday that are due thursday, and have 2 articles to read for another class. Usually professors stick to their syallbus but for some reason they are adding so much more to it...ugh. It's really hard to concentrate in school when I see the sun shining outside and it being beautiful outside! It's even harder to go to work at night when it's still pretty outside and all my friends are outside playing games and hanging out. Last Friday we had relay for life which was a blast. I couldn't be there the whole time but when I was there I enjoyed myself. Alrighty well I have to get back to my work now...bye!

Can't believe we are half way over with the semester already, the weeks are flying by! I haven't updated in a while, so this may be a long entry. I joined a field hockey intramural team, the Wild One's, and we had our first game last night. I quit field hockey in tenth grade of high school and haven't really played since. Intramurals are held on the turf field that the actual school hockey team plays on. My team reminds me of my high school team because of all the laughs we shared last night! I found out I got an 84 on my educational psychology exam I took last week, which brought my grade up to a solid B which I am more than pleased with. I'm trying to get my portfolio done since I present next week, but it's kind of tough to stay focused and do it! My advisor sent me an email last week saying she cleared me to register for classes, it's kind of scary because I will be registering for my professional semester, also known as 'block'. Reality is starting to set in that I will be graduating in about a year...yikes. This friday is Relay for Life, I'm sure some of you are familiar with this event through your high school or communities. This year I am serving on the decorations committee, so we are responsible for transforming the student rec center into a jungle (the theme of this years relay). Well I hope you all enjoy your day :)

Well break is over and now its back to the books :( My trip to Texas was incredible, I visited so many neat places. It's hard to get back to doing school work all the time! Today's the first day of spring, but its raining in Lock Haven. Yesterday was so nice outside, me and my roomate broke out or field hockey sticks and hit around for a little. I was able to do my homework outside on my porch too which was nice! I only have one exam this week so I really need to get focused, start studying and stop procrastinating so much. Relay for Life is next weekend on campus, I am on the decorations comittee and we have a meeting tonight for that, but unfortunately I have to work so I have to miss it. I hope you all enjoy your first day of Spring...ps- free ritas!

Hello everyone, spring break is here!! I am working here at the office till noon, heading to Bentley to have lunch with one of my roomates then going home! I am so excited. This week has been beautiful here, it was 65 degrees out on Wednesday afternoon. Everyone was outside doing something. I took advantage of the weather and did my homework on the porch. My flight leaves tomorrow so I really want be home for too long. Have a good break everyone :)

Hello everyone :) So yesterday was leap year! I haven't had a leap year since my senior year of high school...wow that makes me feel old. I found out I go a 90% on my educational psychology exam which I was stoked about! I am so glad this week is over, it has definately been one of the most stressful since the semester started. Tonight I'm going to see the Lorax at the local downtown movie theatre, The Roxy. (Happy birthday Dr. Seuss!!) As a student, you can get $5 movie tickets at the bookstore. I officially have 8 days till I leave for Texas for Spring Break !! I cannot wait :) I hope you all have a great weekend.
TGIF!

hi everyone! Well today the weather outside is not the best...it's raining and kind of sleeting/hailing, which puts a damper on my mood. I have SUCH a busy week, 2 exams friday morning and a scripted lesson plan due! Lets just say I'll be living in the library the next two nights. Then on Saturday morning we have an open house. I went home this past weekend it was so relaxing, I wish I did more school work though so I wouldnt be as slammed with it as I am now, I am really struggling with my time management this semester =( I hope everyone has a great day !!!

hi everyone! it's absolutely GORGEOUS in the haven today! It's suppose to be about 50 degrees today and I couldn't be more excited...spring is on its way! However I heard it might snow this weekend...but thankfully I'm going home! I live about two and a half hours from LHU, a perfect distance so I don't want to make the commute every weekend, but close enough to go home when I need to. I am going to help my sister plan her sweet 16 party, and hang out with a few friends too hopefully! I only go home about once or twice a semester, so when I do I try to squeeze in as much as I can. I get out of class at 2:15 today, and I plan to go to the rec to get a workout in, then go to the library to work on some lesson plans due Friday. I also need to find time to get my ashes done at the local church since its Ash Wednesday. Hope everyone has a great day !! =]
