Major: Health Science; Pre-Physician Assistant
Why I chose LHU and what I love about it: I chose "The Haven" because when I went to visit I fell in love with the small and
personable campus atmosphere and it seemed like a place I would love to call home for the next four years. I also received a Board of
Governor scholarship which was a benefit.
Clubs/Organizations I'm involved with or plan to become involved: Resident Assistant (RA), President of Sophisticated Ladies,
member of the Black Student Union, Health Science club, Americorps, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clinton County, 2nd Mile, and Sun

Other personal interests: I love to talk, hang out with my friends, go to the movies, go bowling, shopping, dance and meet new people.

So this was another craz week this tie it was full of tests in almost all of my classes. My biomechanics class started it all off, then it was chemistry, and finally today it was my stats class to close the week. Well, on a lighter note every Spring semester Lock Haven's theater department put on a big play production. This year they performed Seusical The Musical. My boyfriend and I went to see it and it was great. We always look forward to the plays the theater department puts on because we feel each one we have gone to since our freshman year has been great. Also, tomorrow (Saturday, April 12, 2008) will be our final Open House of the semester, so I will be giving tours tomorrow. Also, this Sunday is Lock Haven's Scholarship ceremony for those students who received Lock Haven Foundation scholarships. I am excited because I received a scholarship and my parents will be coming up here to see me receive it. I am very excited for two reasons, one being that I am receiving some money, the other being that I haven't seen my parents since early March so I'll be able to see them before I come home for the summer. Well that's all for now. Talk to you later.
So this past week I have been so busy with classes, extracurricular activities, work, planning summer classes, and securing my field experience for the summer. So this past week RHA on campus which stands for Residence Hall Association had their annual Sex Squares gameshow. Basically, it's a spin off from the tv show Hollywood Squares except the people in the squares are faculty and administration and they're answering questions about sex (and making jokes at the same time). My hall (Gross) competed but unfortunately we did not win, actually none og the halls won. The S.C.C. team won which stands for Student Cooperative Council. So in addition to this my Zeta sorors and I had a Meet and Greet Ice Cream Social where the whole campus had a chance to come out and meet us. We had a nice turnout and everyone said they enjoyed themselves. We had games, a doubledutch contest, and a guessing game to name a few. Then on Friday we had our Celebrity Bash Party where we were The Jackson 5's. We had several other celebrities such as Paris Hilton, TLC, Jay-Z, P-Diddy, Alicia Keys, and many others. Everybody had fun at that too. Then the next day Sophisticated Ladies had another party which I did not make it to because I just got sick. So all this happened this past week and I still managed to complete my school work. So I'm about to go but check out my pictures of us from our Ice Cream Social and our party.
Hey,
So, on March 1, 2008 I became a sister of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. which is just one of the sororities on campus. Right now my sisters and I am extra hype because whenever we see each other we are always doing our sorority call. As you can see in my biography I am a Resident Assistant (RA) here at Lock Haven and this weekend is Easter weekend. Now of all the weekends of course I get the great fortune (lol) of being on duty which basically means on Friday I have to be in the dorm by 6:00pm and there unitl 7:00am the next morning, and on Saturday I have to be in the dorm by 10:30pm until 7:00am the next morning. Despite all of this of course I have to make some fun out of this. To give a little background information, one of my sisters is Jamaician and a common dessert that her family makes is "monkey bread". So last night my sisters came over to my dorm and we made monkey bread while talking, watching movies, and playing games. See everything turned out good and fun after all. Tonight I'm on backup duty which means I have to be in the dorm by 10:30pm. I have a boyfriend here at Lock Haven, his name is Josh. I'm spending tonight playing games with him. We've already played Gestures (which I beat him in), Twister (which we gave up playing) and CSI (which we're still playing). Just to tell you every dorm has a large selection of games for residents to play when you want to, in addition dorms also have a pool table, ping pong and sometimes other games like air hockey. Well that's all for now.
